Interpretation:
LSIL
Cytomorphologic Criteria:
The classic "koilocyte" as seen on anal cytology.
Explanatory Notes:
Criteria for LSIL are similar to cervical cytology. Note also the cytoplasmic orangeophilia consistent with keratinization, which seems to be more prominent in anal cytology.
Follow-up:
Concurrent bxs showed AIN 1 (mild dysplasia)
