Interpretation:
Atypical endometrial cells

Cytomorphologic Criteria:
Aggregate of small cells with slightly enlarged round or oval nuclei, small nucleoli and finely vacuolated cytoplasm.

Explanatory Notes:
Atypical endometrial cells may be associated with the presence of a wide variety of processes, including polyps, chronic endometritis, hyperplasia, and carcinoma.
