Two large nuclei with coarsely granular chromatin and prominent nucleoli are consistent with squamous cell carcinoma. Explanatory Notes: Pleomorphism of shape and size is a feature of invasive squamous cell carcinoma, and is usually more obvious in the keratinizing type.
