Other Malignant Neoplasms: Metastatic small cell undifferentiated carcinoma

Cytomorphologic Criteria:
This tight cluster is composed of small epithelial cells with stippled chromatin, inconspicuous nucleoli and nuclear molding. An adjacent single malignant cells resembles an atypical lymphocyte.

Explanatory Notes:
Note the three-dimensional appearance of the cluster in a liquid preparation compared to conventional smear. The presence of clusters will help in the differential diagnosis with malignant lymphoma.
