Type of Preparation: Conventional Magnification: High Interpretation: HSIL Cytomorphologic Criteria: Unequivocal nuclear "dysplastic" changes are present in these relatively small squamous cells. The nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio suggests moderate dysplasia (CIN2). Explanatory Notes: For mild dysplasia (LSIL), more abundant and mature cytoplasm and a lower N/C ratio is expected. In this case chromatin changes suggest HSIL; however the N/C ratio is on the low end for HSIL.
